Now in its third generation of ownership, my products are trademarked, and unique…or so I thought.  I ran a search recently and found three other businesses selling a product very similar to mine.  Who can help me “fix” this and protect my business’ name and reputation?

Dear Phoenix:  We suggest you hire a professional forensic accounting, computer forensics and investigation firm- and quickly.  Such companies have the expertise and often the proprietary software to help your business maintain a favorable online image.  These forensic investigators will track down whoever is violating your trademarks and put a stop to their “piracy”.  They can install safeguards to shield your corporate trade secrets from hackers.  Additional services may include putting a stop to any negative publicity that may be generated about your business on “flaming sites”- websites that exist for that sole purpose.  Lastly, an experienced forensic investigation firm will safeguard against trademark infringement recurrences.  It doesn’t get any better than that!
